A-Plus Backflow Rates
Backflow Testing Rates
A-Plus Backflow keeps standard annual testing straightforward. For one accessible domestic or irrigation backflow assembly, standard testing starts at $140.
Authority filing, report submission, or processing fees are billed separately when required. Some properties also require additional coordination, access, reporting, repair, or safety steps.

Some cities, water authorities, or reporting platforms charge a separate filing, submission, or processing fee for backflow test reports. When required, that fee is billed as a separate pass-through line item. These fees are commonly around $25 in many areas, but the amount depends on the authority or reporting platform.

Site conditions
What can affect the final price?
Backflow testing is usually simple when the assembly is accessible, identifiable, and in testable condition. Pricing can change when there are multiple assemblies, locked or unsafe access, flooded vaults, missing assembly information, failed tests, damaged shutoff valves, missing test ports, repair needs, or authority filing, submission, or platform requirements.
Have a notice from your city or water provider?
Mention the notice and due date in the request notes. It helps us confirm the property, assembly information, due date, and reporting authority before scheduling. If A-Plus needs to review the notice, we can request it through an approved review path.
Fee transparency
What the standard test price covers
The test price covers the standard accessible backflow test and required test report. Some authorities or reporting platforms charge a separate filing or submission fee for the report. When that applies, it is shown separately instead of being hidden inside the test price.
